How do I find my account number and routing number?

You can access your account number in your online banking or mobile banking account, and at the bottom of all your checks. If you have trouble locating your bank account number, you can contact your local banker or call 423-272-2200.

For legacy Civis Bank customers your bank routing number is 064202967.

How do I open a Thread Bank account

Please visit either of our two branch locations to apply for new products or services.

Where can I use my Debit/ATM card?

Our VISA® Debit/Check Card gives you access to ATM locations nationwide and you can make purchases online and in-store at merchants that accept VISA worldwide. ATM machines are also available at each of our branch locations to serve customers 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

What do I do if my Civis Bank card is lost or stolen?

To report LOST or STOLEN cards call: 423-921-9900 during business hours or call 800-554-8969 anytime. A representative will assist you with blocking your card and preventing further charges from being applied to your account.

When will the bank name change?

The public launch of the new bank name from Civis to Thread will take place on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022.

Will my account number change?

No. Your existing Civis account number will not change.

Will my Civis Bank debit card still work?

Yes. Your existing Civis debit card will continue to work and you will not be reissued a new card.

Can I continue to use my checks?

Yes. You can continue to use your current supply of checks.

How will I access online banking?

You will be able to access online banking on the new Thread website, using your Civis login name and password. Your current account and online banking experience will remain unchanged.

Will I still be able to use the mobile banking app?

Yes. With your Civis account number, login name, and password, you can review your balances, your current and past statements, and transfer money between accounts.

Will I be able to access my transaction history or my previous online statements after the name change?

Yes. You will continue to have access to your personal or business online banking, where you can view your transaction history and online statements.

Are there any changes to branch locations or hours?

No. You will still be able to visit either of our two branch locations to make deposits, withdrawals, or apply for new products or services.

Will there be any changes to my loan?

No. Your loan terms and conditions will remain the same.

Will there be changes to how my loan payments are processed?

If you currently have automatic payments established, there will be no changes to your loan payment processing schedule. If you send check payments by mail, you will now need to make payments out to Thread Bank, instead of Civis Bank.

Who should I contact if I have questions about my loan?

You can contact your local banker or call 423-272-2200 to speak with a customer service representative.

What about my direct deposit or automatic payments?

All direct deposits and automatic payments linked to your current Civis Bank account and bank routing number are unaffected and remain in place. No action is required.

Will the same products and services be available after Civis Bank becomes Thread Bank?

Yes. In addition to our existing products and services, new personal and business accounts will be available in early summer through a new digital experience.

What changes can I expect with the new bank name?

With the name change, there will be very little impact to existing Civis Bank customers. You can expect new digital products and services to become available in early summer 2022.
